Vikings search for offensive linemen at the combine continues

The Vikings have by now met with initially-round hopeful Dalton Risner from Kansas Point out.

We can include two other names to the list, though not as flashy, for every Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press.

Per Tomasson, the Vikings have confirmed interest in Arkansas offensive lineman Hjalte Froholdt along with Charlotte’s Nate Davis.

Of the two, Davis (6’3, 306 lbs) has the greater upside but is however regarded a Day 2 or Day 3 select. He projects far more as a guard who could begin in period two or a few.

As for Froholdt (6’5, 305 lbs), he’s raw and is likely to be a little bit far more of a task. NFL.com grades him as an NFL backup or special groups player. His sizing is what has scouts psyched.

These players are significant, much too. One particular weak point with Minnesota’s offensive line has been its deficiency of depth. Whilst these players may not be picked in the prime-4 rounds, they are however players we could see drafted with the team’s late-round picks.
