Diggs believes Vikings could be ‘really special’ in future

The Minnesota Vikings ended up amid the most disappointing groups in 2018, but Stefon Diggs anticipates sizeable advancements transferring ahead.

Minnesota was billed as a common Super Bowl candidate prior to the marketing campaign, but the team sputtered to an 8-7-1 report and missed the playoffs. Diggs believes the Vikings will eventually advantage from continuity and hinted at an improved rapport with quarterback Kirk Cousins.

“1st calendar year. New technique, new quarterback, new receivers. Everybody’s new. Even now received to adjust, and you know there is a great deal of place for improvement,” Diggs explained, according to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio.

“We’ve experienced a great deal of sparks. We experienced some very good game titles. Some matters that you observed that we could be truly distinctive. And executing it on a dependable foundation is anything that is going to occur with time. You can’t look ahead to time. It is not functioning in opposition to us, it’s functioning with us.”

It would be challenging to blame Diggs for the Vikings’ underwhelming period as he finished with 102 receptions for 1,021 yards and nine touchdowns. Anticipations will continue being superior, even so, and Diggs will be counted on to play a leadership role as the team looks to make a deep operate in the postseason subsequent calendar year.
